My Phi Kappa Phi Induction, UNT, Denton, Texas, April 29, 2010

Last April 29, 2010, the Phi Kappa Phi -UNT Chapter, the International Honor Society, held its induction at University Union, UNT, Denton. Texas last April 29, 2010. I am very grateful to have been invited as one of the 2010 inductees.

My husband, Renner Lorica, and son John came with me to the event.

Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas/Pacquiao and Clottey

My husband, Renner Lorica, our two sons, John (who watched the fight with his two friends from California), and Paul (who went home to Irving for Spring Break) and I watched the Pacquiao-Clottey bout at Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas last March 13, 2010.

There was a festive mood all over Cowboys Stadium. It was the first time I have seen so many Filipinos in the US.

People clapped their hands, roared, and chanted " Manny, Manny, Manny" whenever Pacquiao is flashed on the big screen. My son, Paul with me!
